DOTS (2020)
In 2018 The Cooper Hewitt Museum presented an exhibition entitled “Saturation: The Allure and Science of Color.” I was smitten by the dozens of rare books on color theory, Isaac Newton’s and Goethe’s among them. DOTS is my response.
Double-sided accordion-fold book; gouache on handmade paper, painted with a dowel.
