Icones Plantarum: A Book of Imaginary Botany (1988)
Early in my career I worked at The New York Botanical Garden, as a book conservator. When I left that job, I found myself missing the books I had worked on. Icones Plantarum: A Book of Imaginary Botany was my response to the loss of that world.
Limp vellum binding; gouache on handmade paper with gold-stamped borders.
Unique binding.
